Warehouse Floor Repairs

Warehouse Floor Repair, Corrective Grinding & Concrete Slab Restoration

Concrete floor failures require more than surface-level fixes. Spalled joints, slab movement, structural cracking, and uneven forklift transitions are indicators of deeper performance problems. These conditions affect more than appearance; they compromise safety, equipment performance, and operational efficiency in warehouses and industrial facilities.

Loral Concrete Slab Solutions provides specialized warehouse floor repair, corrective grinding, and slab restoration services throughout North Carolina and South Carolina, with a strong presence in coastal and southeastern North Carolina. Our team corrects joint failure, stabilizes settled and rocking slabs, welds structural cracks, rebuilds spalled concrete, and grinds uneven transitions to restore smooth wheel paths and long-term performance. We also provide polished concrete refinement, restoring dull or worn slabs through mechanical grinding, densification, and polishing to improve durability, reduce dusting, and enhance floor performance. Every repair strategy is designed to address the root cause of
slab distress, not just the surface damage.

Engineered Flooring Repairs

When warehouse floors begin to crack, settle, or deteriorate, precision matters. Our repair solutions are engineered to stabilize, strengthen, and extend the life of your existing slab.

Properly installed semi-rigid joint fillers protect slab edges from impact damage and support load transfer across construction and control joints. We install and maintain high-performance joint fillers designed for industrial traffic environments. When combined with joint stabilization, our systems reduce edge spalling, minimize joint deterioration, and significantly extend the service life of the floor.

When concrete slabs settle or shift due to subgrade issues, the result is uneven surfaces, cracking, and operational disruption. Injection stabilization eliminates vertical slab movement at construction and control joints, reducing edge spalling and extending floor service life.

Loral utilizes a specially formulated, low-viscosity structural foam to provide uniform sub-slab support and help restore aggregate interlock. When installed prior to joint filler placement, the service life of the semi-rigid filler can be extended up to 10×. With full bearing support, the filler is no longer dependent solely on sidewall adhesion for load transfer performance.

Not all cracks are cosmetic. Structural cracks can compromise load capacity and allow moisture intrusion that accelerates deterioration. Using our Concrete Floor Crack Welding Procedures, we permanently repair structural cracks through a full-depth structural restoration. We evaluate each crack to determine its cause and apply engineered repair systems designed to restore structural integrity and prevent further movement. The goal is not just to fill the crack, but to correct the problem behind it.

Structural slab damage compromises performance and accelerates deterioration. Epoxy mortar repairs are used to restore integrity in areas affected by delamination, joint failure, and surface spalling. Unsound concrete is mechanically removed to expose stable material. The section is then rebuilt using a high-strength structural epoxy mortar designed for heavy-load environments. Once cured, the area is ground and refined to maintain slab continuity and long-term durability.

Even minor height differences between slabs can cause forklift vibration, equipment damage, and safety concerns. We use precision diamond grinding to smooth uneven transitions, curled slab edges, and raised joints. By mechanically correcting the surface profile, we create transitions that improve safety, reduce impact stress, and protect long-term floor performance.
